Who are the Deep Cove Lions?
The Deep Cove Lions was chartered on August 30, 1999. We are one of the few all female Lions Clubs in Lionism. We serve the Deep Cove/ Parkgate / Seymour Area of North Vancouver. We are all residents of our community and come from varying backgrounds.

Our programs vary and are continually changing to meet the needs of our community, but our mission has never changed as we live up to our Lions Motto “We Serve”.
Some of our activities have included: •Deep Cove Stage & First Impressions Theatre •Bursary Programs @ Windsor & Seycove High Schools •Youth Exchange Programs •Shred it for a Cause •Community Sign Board •Theatre Night Fundraiser •Catering assistance on request •Recycling eyeglasses Some of our support goes or has gone to: •Camperships for handicapped children •Deep Cove Cultural Centre •Lions Gate Hospital Foundation •BC Cancer Foundation •North Shore Youth Safe House •Harvest House •Lions Foundation of Canada – Guide Dogs •Christmas Hampers •North Shore Lookout Aid Society •Neighbourhood House Food Bank •Helping families in the Community •Spectrum- support for new & young mothers |
